This is the new Sprinter Van Cargo Net for Hi-Top with 2″ Heavy Duty Webbing and it’s one of our custom vertical cargo nets made for either the Dodge or Mercedes Hi-Top Sprinter vehicle, typically behind the 2nd or 3rd row of seats and/or directly behind the main side door.
This cargo net was designed with getting a nice tight fit in mind. We originally drew this one for a customer of Eddie’s Truck Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. Our original intent was to build a cargo net that they could crank down nice and tight and cover as much area as possible.

Instead of going straight down or out after we came down to the wider middle strap area, we decided, since the customer had floor anchors and we were mounting behind the seats, to reverse direction on the bottom half, come towards the middle, then flare out again from multi-directional rings on the bottom corners back out to the floor anchors. We just had to make the net a little shorter and it worked perfectly. In this case, the customer can still cover all the area that they have to.
This design actually uses less material and is stronger because of the nice tight fit. In this case as well, we were able to use 2” webbing which is twice as strong as 1” webbing. However, as in any heavy duty cargo net restraint scenario, a cargo net is only as strong as the weakest point, which in most cases is the anchor. If the anchor rips out, the cargo net is useless. Make sure you properly install your anchors to ensure maximum strength, stability and safety.
If needed, you can purchase our custom handmade anchors if you don’t provide your own. We take a steel plate, drill a couple of holes for you to use with your own self-tapping screws and we weld a D-ring onto it. Please take the D-ring anchors into consideration when verifying the dimensions of your net and the placement of our snaps. We will adjust the drawing to accommodate either your anchors, or ours.
