If you’ve been thinking about adding a pickup pack to your arsenal, there are some things to think about. The typical pickup pack for a long bed truck usually comes with all the trimmings including a gull-wing tool box up front, 2 side boxes, either a flat or dome hatch, a headache rack either open post or hexagonal design, a ladder rack in the back, and a truck slide. There are all kinds of goodies as well like custom lighting for inside your boxes while you’re working in the dark, lights for the headache rack, load lights, hatch lights and tool trays.
You have several options when it comes to design and color. You can either do a standard really nice looking silver or black diamondplate, a sanded diamondplate called a Leopard, a smooth silver or black, or a Gladiator dimple style which is black with silver bullets.

If you have a short bed truck, you can still get the gull wing tool box with or without the fuel & tool option, but it will shorten the length of both your side boxes and your slide to about a 52” space depending on your truck. The headache rack will sit up on the rail, the gull wing box or the diesel transfer tank will be in front of it. In this case, the gull wing toolbox will include the fuel & tool option, where the gas tank is directly inside the box.
