Ride to the Top of Machu Pichu – Canadian Cowboys

It was September 1st of this year and I was flying from Lima, Peru to San Salvador coming back from Paraguay, South America on my way back to Los Angeles. All the flights back on this trip told stories, but this one topped them all.
Rick and Carl, two Canadian cowboys, were sitting next to me on the TACA Airbus. The flight was, all in all, about 5 hours I believe, but it was over in about 15 minutes for me, as well I believe for them, because the conversation was great and flowed pretty well I thought. Every time I take a plane ride I always hope I’m not sitting next to some fly by night idiot.
In this case it was quite the contrary. These boys are serious explorers. Kind of brings back a bit of the frontiersman in all of us talking to them, so for that, I thank them greatly. I also thank them for allowing me to post their videos on my site so all my visitors can enjoy some of the grandeur that our world offers. And for all you f.cking lazy spoiled Americans sitting around watching cry baby talk shows all day long and collecting a government check because your back hurts, maybe you’ll rest better at night knowing that at least there’s somebody out there doing it.
During one of our conversations I asked if they had ever traveled to SA before and they said ‘no’. I asked what had sparked the excursion and they replied that one day they just decided to plan a wild trip, so this was it. They visited the infamous Machu Pichu in Peru. But they didn’t just visit, ohhhhhhh no. They busted a serious move and hopped on a couple of motorcycles with video cam attached to one of their helmets and recorded an experience that they’ll never forget.
